A month ago I had a smelly, mold – ridden, sickly, and frankly embarrassingly disgusting turn of the century home. I now have a clean, fresh smelling, non – moldy and inviting house! This is due to the unbelievable and fantastic work on my garage, basement, HVAC, attic and bathroom thanks to Thomas, Levi and the rest of the crew at Smart Healthy Homes. From the first meeting with Thomas until the end of the project, I was always impressed with his sincerity, character and overall knowledge of the process of removing the mold from my home. He was able to make me feel at ease with every step of the project and answer all questions I had along the way.

The fact that he was in constant communication with me was not only a comfort, but it also allowed me to know what step in the process his team was encountering at that moment. Not only would I highly recommend Smart Healthy Homes to everyone, but I am also keeping their number in my favorites list for future projects because they are able to provide restoration services which are invaluable for old homeowners! This was hands down THE BEST experience we have ever had with a company. If you need any restoration work for your home, look no further. We had a horrendous black mold infestation that was taking over the drywall on our walls, ceilings, and even destroying our cabinet under our kitchen sink. After reading the amazing reviews for Smart Healthy Homes, we called them to schedule an estimate.

I was impressed that someone was able to meet me the next business day to perform the inspection. Thomas Clay met me at my house and was able to inspect the areas of concern. Right away I could tell Thomas was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He took the time to explain in detail his plans for removing the current mold, as well as how he planned on preventing the spread of the mold in the future. Thomas prepared a very detailed estimate for us the next day. This estimate broke down his plans step by step, the cost associated for the repairs, and was very easy to understand. He was able to get me on his schedule in a timely manner and was able to complete the removal in the original time that he quoted.

During my final inspection with Thomas, not only did he review with me the repairs that they performed, he went over some things that he noticed to help us avoid any future repairs. He gave me advice as if it was his own home. He truly went above and beyond. I was very pleased with this company! From the time Thomas came in to give me the estimate and the two men who came in to do the work. I had mold in my attic and in my heating and A/C unit and inside my duct work. Not only did they remove the mold, they also pin pointed where it was coming from and fixed the problem. Very professional, friendly and polite. They did excellent work and cleaned up all their mess before they left. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you contract with this company. I would definitely use them again.

I hired Thomas Clay and his crew to remove mold all throughout both our attic, and two heating and AC units. . Their quote was incredibly detailed, and they spent time explaining everything thoroughly to me and my father. They even brought more crew to do the job in less time than was quoted so that we didn’t have to be without air when it was quite hot out. They cleaned all the mold and gave us tips for preventing further mold growth. You can tell Thomas and his son care a lot about what they do. They’re very honest and genuine people, and I d definitely hire them again.

Customer service is top priority with this company. The crew is very thorough and eliminated the mold in the basement. There was also mold in the house. They cleaned out the air ducts, the furnace, and all surfaces in the house to eliminate the mold problem. They went out of their way to schedule a time that would work best for me. Then we did a follow up and walk through to address any lingering concerns or questions. I am very happy with the work they did and the cost. Other companies wanted the same or more but didn’t want to do anything about the air ducts and furnace. I highly recommend Smart Healthy Homes.

The Staff that came to my mother’s home were very professional and respectful. They scheduled a time that worked with the schedule of the household. My mother is 92 and the concern they showed for her health impressed the family. They explained what they had found, what they were doing to correct the situation and what we needed to do to keep the mold from returning. The following week after treatment the Thomas followed up to see if we had any questions concerning the work that was performed. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable and respectful Staff.

A home inspection indicated mildew in a master bedroom of a home for sale. Thomas was very thorough in his inspection. He checked both this room, heating and /ac units, and the attic not finding moisture. With further testing he was able to discover what looked like mold was in fact discolored varnish on the baseboards saving much expense for the seller.

The home inspector found visible mold after we had a purchase contract on the house. Thomas and his son are reasonably priced, honest, and upfront. They also explain what they are doing and why. I plan to use them to get my vacation rentals ready for the upcoming season.

They did an excellent job from the attic to the A/C unit and related ductwork. We will recommend them to anyone. They wanted to make sure they got all the mold and did. We appreciate what they did and I never worried about them being in our house when we weren’t there. We are very satisfied.
